Jesse Luggage Systems Odyssey II and Safari II aluminium panniers to fit the Triumph Tiger 800 Road or XC. They are available in Charcoal, Silver or Black. These panniers are manufactured in Phoenix Arizona USA by Jesse Luggage Systems who have been manufacturing aluminium panniers for 18 years, they are very popular in the USA where they are the best selling brand of Aluminium Adventure Panniers.

The panniers are made using 2mm aluminium and have an all welded construction which gives them superior strength, they are powder coated to protect them and also to prevent your clothes etc from getting black marks on them. (which bare aluminum panniers will do)

The Odyssey II panniers have a total capacity of 105 litres, they are 940mm (37") wide, The Safari II panniers have a total capacity of 90 litres, they are 890mm (35") wide, This gives a much bigger capacity than the standard Triumph panniers, This means that even the narrower Safari panniers hold 28 litres more than the Triumph panniers, that's over 30% more and the bigger Odyssey panniers hold over 40% more!

One of the design features of the Jesse Panniers is the mounting frames come with 1" spacers which need to be fitted with the standard exhaust system, If you fit an after market exhaust that is smaller you can then remove the spacers to make the panniers narrower.

Jesse Luggage Odyssey II and Safari II panniers move back and forth on the mountings so that you can keep your luggage and weight as close to the centre of gravity as possible, on the Triumph Tiger 800 the panniers will move from the solo position to the two up position providing about 100mm(about 4") of movement. The panniers can be taken off or refitted in just a few seconds and once the lids are locked then they are secured to the bike, the locks are built in to the handles and are machined from solid Aluminium, the lids have resistence hinges so no strap is needed to stop the lid from opening too far, the lids will hold at the point at which you stop opening them
