Yamaha XTZ 1200 Super Tenere

Pictured above and below is the Yamaha Super Tenere fitted with the Jesse Odyssey II panniers and mountings.

Both the Odyssey II & Safari panniers will fit on the unique, adjustable Odyssey II mounts So that you can mount them in the forward (solo) position and keep the centre of gravity as close as possible to the centre of the bike or in the rear positon if carrying a pillion. Here are a few specs: Odyssey II system capacity boasts 105 liters vs 64 liters for the standard Yamaha panniers, but are no wider than the stock standard Yamaha panniers. The 10" Odyssey II panniers hold 105 liters at 37” width. The 9” Safari’s offer a generous 90 liters, at 35” width. Our largest bag, the 11” Safari, provides 112 liters at 40” in width

The Odyssey II system pictured above and below boast's a capacity of 105 litres, this is a massive 65% more than the 64 litre capacity of the standard Yamaha panniers, but they are no wider than the standard Yamaha panniers. (approximately 37”/940mm wide) The Odyssey II system pictured above shows the Odyssey II panniers with the rear compartment and top box mounting plate fitted, the rear compartment replaces the pillion seat and holds about 6 litres, ideal for stashing a toolkit, first aid kit, bulb kit etc.

The Odyssey II system pictured below shows the Odyssey II panniers with the Safari top box fitted, the Odyssey top box does not have the hook eyes on the corners of the lid (see more photos on the Top Boxes and rear compartment page) note that the panniers are fitted in the fore and aft positions.

Pictured above, The Safari 9" pannier system shows the panniers with the passenger grab rails fitted, this gives a total width of 35"/890mm if the grab rails are removed the width can be reduced by about 2"/50mm. The capacity of the 9" safari panniers is 90 litres. As with the Odyssey panniers the Safari panniers will move back and forth on the mounting frames so that you can optimise your centre of gravity when riding solo and also have them in the correct postion when carrfying a pillion.
